The God of War's Vigil
My name is Diaos. A damn system yanked me from my computer into this war-torn world. The system gave me fifty points of damage reduction and a glowing badge, saying it would make it easier for monsters to locate me. My only partner is Helan, a six-foot-tall barbarian war goddess with golden hair, blue eyes, a blue tattoo on her face, and a voice as loud as a gong. She fights with peerless valor, yet firmly believes it is her destiny to cook for me every single day—and every meal ends with me having diarrhea. I’ve tried playing dead, running away, lying flat, but the system always sends even stronger monsters after me. Eventually, I accepted my fate, cut down a few demon generals, and last night, casually sneaked into the demon lair and stuck the demon king’s head on the city wall.
