Bird taming
The rented room was small, the dampness tinged with the scent of rust, a few empty beer bottles piled in the corner. Jiang Yin stood in front of Shen Duo, her gaze clinging to his shoulder blades as if appraising a newly unwrapped personal possession. Shen Duo sat on the edge of the bed, clutching his phone, not once lifting his head. Jiang Yin never bothered to disguise her intentions—her voice always carried that seductive, breathy quality, her tongue casually tracing the corner of her lips, like some kind of tamed offering. But Shen Duo knew that this placating gesture could turn on him at any moment, for deep in Jiang Yin’s eyes lurked a greedy addiction—a craving to monopolize his every shred of attention.
